Taste New Woods

Whiskey gets most of its flavor from white oak, the standard barrel wood. We made SLOW HAND Six to highlight the delicious flavors of woods rarely turned into barrels — hickory, maple, mulberry, red oak and grape. These new woods add notes of plum, butterscotch, currants, clove and black tea to the familiar vanilla and spice of white oak.

SLOW HAND Six starts as organic malted barley, which we ferment cool and slow into a delicious beer, then distill to precisely capture the best flavors. We age the spirit in 1,000 and 2,000 gallon white oak vats with house-toasted staves of the additional woods for additional flavor.

IDEAL IN  Classic whiskey cocktails or neat; cask strength with ice

1 oz simple syrup
3 dash BAR KEEP saffron bitters
Shake + strain into rocks glass
